The following programs, policies and facilities are provided for our people who have caring responsibilities:
  • Work/Life All ages. All stages - Resource guide;
  • Discount on a wide range of services provided by Mercy Home and Community Care for immediate family members;
  • Keeping in touch program – employees on extended leave are encouraged to remain in touch with the workplace;
  • Mentoring program for women returning to work from parental leave;
  • 'Mercybank' Program provides an option for employees on parental leave to work in a casual capacity without breaking their continuity of service to the organisation;
  • Child care;
  • A subsidised School Holiday Program;
  • Pet care;
  • The Children at Work policy which provides employees with the option of bringing their children to work in emergency situations;
  • A self referral Employee Assistance Program is available to all employees and immediate family members;
  • Diversity Contact Officers providing confidential support;
  • Parents Network;
  • API - A child care referral service available free of charge.
