Salary packaging program

Mercy Health offers an excellent and flexible salary packaging program to all employees, including casual, part-time and full-time.  This program is only available for “not for profit, benevolent institutions” which works by reducing employee income tax payments and increasing their take-home salary.

Salary packaging items include:
  • Home mortgage and personal loan repayments;
  • Rental payments;
  • Credit card repayments;
  • Private health insurance;
  • Voluntary HELP repayments or your children’s school fees;
  • Meals and entertainment.  
In addition to the list above, employees can salary package certain benefits over and above the legislated capping limit. These include dining out expenses (Meals & Entertainment), additional superannuation contributions, laptop computers and professional memberships and subscriptions.

This program is administered by Mercy Health who pride themselves on prompt delivery of service and maximising the financial benefits to participating employees.
